Cash donations are accepted gratefully but are only accepted if they do not have restrictions that conflict with the library’s collection development policy. Gifts are accepted that specify use for a particular section of the collection.
Large monetary donations may be set up in separate endowment accounts or be grouped in a single library endowment account.
Unless otherwise specified by the donor, all funds are invested to generate income for the Decker Library.
Unless otherwise specified under the terms of the endowment agreement, income from the donated funds is used for the purchase of library materials, including but not limited to books, media, exhibition catalogs, or other materials, that the Library Director considers appropriate to support the curriculum and programs of the college.
